Jesse Miller, MBA, CPM, CAPS, NAAEI Faculty
Jesse C. Miller, MBA, CPM®, CAPS, ACoM, ARM®, NAAEI Faculty, SHCM, CAM, NALP is a national award-winning real estate executive with 15 years of property management experience that encompasses asset management, program development, strategic planning, and administration. He serves as director of real estate and is an integral part of the leadership team that manages Greystar’s Portland portfolio in both its multi-family and commercial management sectors. With a passion for education, Mr. Miller has also served as a featured speaker at multiple industry conferences, including APARTMENTALIZE, SPECTRUM, PRISM, EdCon, Seattle’s Trends, National League of Cities, Tokyo's Japan Property Management Association, Jindao - China's 1st International Asset Management Summit in Beijing, UKAA’s Festival of Build-to-Rent, and is a school of business adjunct instructor at Portland State University. He was also featured in the Journal of Property Management, NAA’s UNITS Magazine, and the Top 100 Magazine – Real Estate Edition. Reflecting his exemplary leadership and strong commitment to the real estate industry, Mr. Miller was awarded the 2020 NAA ACE Industry Practitioner of the Year, 2019 National IREM REME ARM of the Year, and the 2018 NAA Credential Holder of the Year Awards.
Lorri Oliver, Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion, Avenue5
Lorri, who has been active in the property management industry since 1998, leads Avenue5 initiatives designed to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace culture, and to ensure that the company’s policies, procedures, practices, and systems are equitable and allow all associates to reach their highest potential. She has extensive experience in generating detailed strategic plans for associate diversity and inclusion programs, crafting comprehensive associate training programs, conducting extensive trend research and competitive analyses, analyzing ROI and performance for company initiatives, mentoring and training associates, and overseeing the execution of custom initiatives to assist teams at stabilized properties, lease-ups, rehabs, and affordable assets with issues related to diversity and inclusion education and program implementation, among others. Prior to joining Avenue5, Lorri served in leadership roles at Archstone, BRE, BlackRock, Riverstone Residential Group, and Invitation Homes. She currently serves on the National Apartment Association’s diversity and inclusion strategic planning sub-committee and actively engages with the National Multifamily Housing Council’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative as Avenue5’s designated representative.

With over 20 years of multifamily industry experience, Heather serves as an award-winning learning and development leader, keynote speaker, executive coach, management consultant, and course facilitator. Heather has achieved numerous credentials from NAAEI, Myers Briggs Institute, DISC, and AIHR, and uses her expertise to support the business goals of increased employee engagement, retention, and business growth for her clients.
